Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting middle school students in a resource classroom setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. The role starts as soon as possible and continues through late May of 2027, providing valuable continuity for students and staff alike.

What you'll bring:

• At least one year of experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One of the following qualification pathways:
  • Completion of two years of college (60 semester credits) from an accredited institution
  • An associates degree or higher
  • Passing score on a recognized basic skills assessment, such as the ParaPro Assessment (455 or better) or ParaEducator assessments (65% for Instructional Support and 70% for Knowledge and Application)
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in a middle school resource classroom
• Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral assistance to students in collaboration with certified staff
• Support students in accessing curriculum and classroom activities
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and educational modifications
• Encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth
• Maintain effective communication with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach
