Job Description

Take an active role in supporting high school students by working as an onsite paraprofessional. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a real difference within a dynamic school environment, working alongside educators across multiple locations. Assignments are tailored to district needs, ensuring a varied and rewarding experience each day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Willingness to assist with toileting and deliver comprehensive student support services as needed
  • Dependability and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday within regular school hours

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and one-on-one support to high school students, assisting with educational and physical needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive, positive learning environment
  • Offer individualized academic, behavioral, and personal care assistance as directed
  • Travel between multiple school sites based on assignment, adapting to varied classroom dynamics
  • Promote independence, engagement, and student growth throughout the school day
