Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or similar role within school environments
• Understanding of behavioral management strategies and experience working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges
• Ability to maintain patience, empathy, and strong communication with both students and staff
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to fostering a supportive learning atmosphere
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certification preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Work directly with one student throughout the school day to provide individualized behavioral and academic support
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and behavior teams
• Implement tailored behavior plans with consistency and fidelity
• Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
• Participate actively in documentation and communication regarding student progress or behavioral incidents
• Encourage positive social interactions and help facilitate an inclusive classroom environment
