Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a school-based support role, especially within special education environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive in supporting students individual educational and behavioral goals
• Familiarity with a range of student needs, including life skills development and autism spectrum disorders
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support to students individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs as outlined in their educational plans
• Help implement individualized programs and adapt classroom materials
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to relevant staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
