Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, especially as a Paraprofessional, is highly valued
• Ability to assist teachers in daily classroom tasks, student engagement, and behavior management
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable to different classroom environments and student needs
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further coursework or certification in education or child development preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support and positive reinforcement to students, both individually and in small groups
• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and implementation of instructional activities
• Encourage and monitor student progress, offering guidance as needed under teacher supervision
• Support students with special needs by following individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom atmosphere
• Contribute to school events and activities, extending support where necessary throughout the campus
