Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with an elementary-age student to support their academic, behavioral, and social development
  • Implementing individualized strategies and interventions under teacher or specialist supervision
  • Assisting with daily routines in the classroom, inclusion, and transitions throughout the school
  • Supporting toileting needs if required
  • Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent support and communication
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation as directed

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in educational or behavioral settings
  • Patience, compassion, and adaptability in responding to students unique needs
  • Open to toileting assistance as part of holistic student care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow individualized plans and behavior intervention strategies
  • Comfort participating in a brief Zoom interview (typically 1520 minutes) with school leadership
