Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional within a school environment
• Ability to effectively support students with behavioral needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a calm demeanor when navigating challenging situations
• Reliability and commitment to the full duration of summer and school-year assignments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized assistance to a student, focusing on behavioral and academic support
• Implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined by the school's support team
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that helps the student achieve success
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to monitor progress and update strategies as needed
• Assist the student during instructional and non-instructional times, including classroom activities, transitions, and breaks
• Document daily progress and maintain effective communication with teachers and parents

This contract position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $24 per hour, reflecting the importance of your expertise and dedication.
