Job Description

Support students' learning and development as a paraprofessional in a vibrant educational setting in Northbrook, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite within an early childhood environment, supporting classroom instruction and providing individualized assistance to students.

Location: Northbrook, IL
Position Type: Contract (ASAP June 8, 2026)
Schedule: Approximately 32.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering instructional support to early childhood learners
  • Provide individual or small group assistance to students to enhance learning outcomes
  • Help implement classroom management and behavioral strategies
  • Support students social, emotional, and academic development as directed by educators
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to meet student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Paraprofessional IEIN certification issued by ISBE is required
  • Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
  • Ability to work onsite and maintain consistent attendance throughout the contract term
