Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school, educational, or child-centered setting
• Demonstrated understanding of behavioral, emotional, or autistic support needs
• Effective interpersonal communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable team player with a proactive attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a supportive, positive environment
• Associates degree, 48 college credits, or completion of a paraprofessional assessment (preferred, may vary by role)
• Willingness to travel between school sites if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-classroom support for students with autism spectrum disorder, multiple disabilities, emotional support, or early intervention needs
• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and behavior management
• Support students with transitions, daily tasks, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to deliver consistent support strategies
