Make a direct impact on a student's learning experience in a meaningful contract role supporting a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). Work onsite 2-3 times per week, providing essential 1:1 assistance to a single student as they connect with their TVI virtually. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about education and dedicated to empowering students with visual impairments.

This assignment runs from ASAP through June 4th, 2027, offering 25-30 hours per week based on the TVI's schedule. Your support will be crucial in bridging the virtual learning environment and in-person needshelping the student stay engaged, access materials, and navigate daily tasks alongside their TVI.

What were looking for:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or working with children in a school setting
• Previous involvement with pediatric or special education populations welcomed
• Interest or background in supporting TVI services is a plus
• Ability to be present onsite at the school on the scheduled days
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing attitude

What youll be doing:

• Providing attentive 1:1 assistance to a student receiving virtual TVI services
• Supporting the student onsite with tasks and materials as directed by the TVI
• Collaborating closely with the virtual TVI to ensure the student receives consistent support
• Assisting with any technology setup or troubleshooting related to virtual learning
• Monitoring student engagement and safety throughout each session
