This full-time contract opportunity runs ASAP through the end of the academic year and is ideal for dedicated Paraeducators or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about making a positive difference in students educational journeys.
Youll be working on one campus, assigned to a specific school, ensuring you build strong, consistent relationships with the students and staff. The caseload will primarily focus on supporting students within elementary and/or middle school age groups. Your efforts will be instrumental in enhancing learning outcomes, providing classroom support, and delivering individualized assistance to students who require extra help accessing the curriculum.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or RBT in a school environment, preferred
- Ability to work effectively with elementary and/or middle school students
- Patience, empathy, and collaborative spirit
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and reliability for a full-time, full-school year schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Support one school site with classroom and individual student assistance
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement lesson plans and IEPs
- Provide direct support to students with academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs
- Assist with instructional activities, transitions, and behavior interventions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere
