Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (required at time of submission; pending permits may be considered with DEEDS portal screenshot)
• Ability to complete and fund $85 CBC fingerprinting requirement
• Experience as a paraprofessional supporting students in school settings is highly desirable
• Flexibility to float between different school sites as needed
• Willingness to commit to a full-time schedule during school weeks (guaranteed hours structure in place)
• Capable of fostering positive relationships with students and staff in diverse environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students as a floater paraprofessional across assigned schools within the district
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and instructional needs
• Offer assistance with behavior support plans and instructional activities under the guidance of classroom staff
• Maintain open communication with administrators to ensure optimal coverage
• Adhere to school/district policies and promote a safe, supportive learning atmosphere
• Assist with additional tasks as required based on daily or weekly assignments
