School-Based Paraprofessional | Needles, CA

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional for a school-based opportunity in Needles, California, for the remainder of the 20262027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special education needs and making a positive impact in the classroom.

Position Details

• Location: Needles, CA

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: May 26, 2027

• Schedule: MondayFriday

• Hours: Approximately 28 billable hours per week

• Wednesday Schedule: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM

• Setting: On-site, school-based position

• Assignment: Floating paraprofessional supporting multiple special education classrooms

• Student Population: Students with mild to severe disabilities and diverse learning needs

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in special education classrooms.

• Assist teachers with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities.

• Support students with academic, social, emotional, and daily living skills.

• Work with students with a variety of disabilities, ranging from mild to severe.

• Assist students with hearing impairments as needed, collaborating with an ASL aide who provides communication support.

• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or students with special education needs preferred.

• Ability to support students with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs.

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work in different special education classrooms.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff.
