Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a school paraprofessional or similar supporting role is highly desirable
• Familiarity with educational settings and working with students of various ages and learning needs
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Ability to follow direction from teachers and educational staff accurately
• Patient, adaptable, and reliable nature
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to teachers in classroom instruction and daily activities
• Assist individual students and small groups with assignments, reinforcing learning concepts and fostering participation
• Implement strategies for effective classroom management and positive behavior support
• Support the development of students academic and social skills according to individualized education plans and lesson objectives
• Supervise students in classroom, on campus, and during activities as needed
• Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization
• Participate in professional development and training sessions
