Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active PARA License required for the state
• Ability to fulfill all state and district-specific criteria for paraprofessional roles
• Experience working with school-aged children and/or preschool early intervention strongly preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and staff
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Support students under the guidance of certified teachers, reinforcing individualized education plans and instructional material
• Provide classroom assistance, one-on-one support, and small group instruction as needed
• Assist with the supervision of students to ensure safety and engagement
• Help maintain classroom order and a welcoming learning environment
• Document student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
