Key Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Paraprofessional Certification (requiredplease ensure its highlighted in your application)
• Proven experience supporting students with disabilities or significant medical needs in school settings
• Willingness to assist with toileting, feeding, and hygiene care if necessary
• Compassionate, patient, and able to communicate effectively with students and educational staff

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a middle school student in a resource room setting, offering academic, social, and physical support throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to implement accommodations and individualized programs
• Provide assistance in personal care such as toileting, feedings, and hygiene management as needed, ensuring the students safety and dignity
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom environment daily
• Track progress and communicate student needs and successes to the educational team and parents
