Sunbelt is partnering with a school district in the Roeland Park, Kansas area that is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional for the upcoming school year. This is a school-based position supporting K12 students with academic engagement, classroom structure, and behavioral needs.

In this role, you will be part of the classroom team helping students stay focused, understand instruction, and participate in daily learning activities. You will provide consistent support to both individual students and small groups while helping maintain a positive learning environment.

What Youll Be Doing:

Supporting students during classroom instruction and guided activities
Helping with behavior support, redirection, and positive reinforcement
Working 1:1 and in small group settings as needed
Assisting teachers with lesson reinforcement and classroom routines
Supporting students with staying engaged and on task throughout the school day

What Were Looking For:

Active Substitute or Paraprofessional certification through DESE required
Candidates in process may apply, but certification must be active prior to start date
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to support student behavior and learning needs
Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
