Special Education Paraprofessional in Coon Rapids, MN

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking highly qualified Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students. Multiple openings are available.

Position Details

  • Position: Special Education Paraprofessional
  • Coon Rapids, MN 55433
  • Start Date: Approximately August 31, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Support students receiving special education services in classroom settings
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and implementation of IEP goals
  • Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
  • Help students transition between activities and throughout the school day
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Document student progress and communicate effectively with school staff
  • Assist with personal care or mobility needs when required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or students preferred
  • Experience in special education, behavioral support, or school settings highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Reliable, patient, and adaptable
  • Must meet all district and state paraprofessional requirements
