As part of a flexible per diem pool, youll provide classroom and student support during call outs throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
- Two years of college credits from an accredited institution, an associate degree or higher, or a passing score on an approved academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), or meet competencies on the MDE approved grid
- PCA certificate (or willingness to obtainfree certification, under one hour to complete)
- At least 1 year of experience working with school-aged children in a professional setting
- Preferred: 2+ years of school-based paraprofessional experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Step in as a substitute paraprofessional to support daily classroom functions and student needs
- Assist students with academic tasks, social integration, behavioral support, and personal care as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other EAs to provide consistent and quality educational experiences
- Adapt to varied classroom settings while following established routines and support strategies
Role Details:
- Location: Near Minneapolis with a focus in Burnsville, MN
- Per diem assignments, scheduled as needed for up to 6.5 hours per day
- Assignments run from August 31, 2026, through June 3, 2027
- Multiple openings available for the 2026-2027 school year
