Take your paraprofessional skills to the next level supporting elementary students for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract opportunity, based near Mesa, AZ, offers a consistent weekday schedule from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Make a meaningful difference as you work alongside dedicated elementary teachers and assist students, including those with Autism, in a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- Paraprofessional certification (fully certified status)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children
- Demonstrated ability supporting students with Autism or similar needs
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and collaboration with staff and students
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
- Provide supportive, patient, and inclusive guidance to students
- Engage in one-on-one and group work with students, adapting to individual needs
- Help reinforce lessons, routines, and behavioral expectations
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and enriching learning environment
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and other professionals as needed
