Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
- Familiarity with K-12 student support, especially special education environments
- Ability to model patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Strong collaborative spirit to work with teachers and staff
- Adaptability in dynamic classroom settings
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct classroom assistance under the guidance of licensed teachers
- Support K-12 students in both group and individualized instructional settings
- Assist with educational activities, behavioral interventions, and classroom management
- Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere to help students reach their educational goals
- Engage in daily classroom routines as well as special assignments or projects
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
