Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students with disabilities in a school-based or clinical environment
- Previous direct experience addressing aggressive behaviors among diverse age groups
- Additional year of experience supporting students with disabilities in other settings may be considered
- Strong skills in behavioral management and de-escalation techniques are highly valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention to students with disabilities, adapting to different school environments as assigned
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to support students and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
- Work closely with educators and specialists to implement individualized behavior plans
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with school staff and families
- Demonstrate flexibility regarding assignments and openness to varied commute times as campus placements will be determined post-onboarding
