Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Para Pro certification required
  • Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and student engagement
  • Provide support for students academic, behavioral, and social needs
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) when applicable
  • Participate in group activities, classroom management, and daily routines
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Model respectful and positive behavior for students
