Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an after-school setting as an ASL Paraprofessional. In this dynamic position, you'll utilize your American Sign Language skills to foster communication and learning among students across various educational sites. With a focus on providing meaningful support between 2:30 and 6:00 PM daily, this role offers a flexible schedule of 20-24 hours per weekideal for individuals seeking part-time work that makes a real difference.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• EIPA certification is not required
• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in educational environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support students across multiple sites as assigned
• Passion for fostering inclusion and facilitating student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with communication needs by utilizing ASL
• Support classroom activities and promote engagement within the after-school program
• Work closely with educators to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Travel between various school sites as needed
• Encourage independence and social interaction among students
• Ensure safety and well-being of all assigned students during program hours
