Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in educational or care settings
- Ability to assist teachers with classroom management and activity facilitation
- Patient, empathetic, and effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
- Willingness to work with students of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting lead teachers in classroom instruction, managing group activities, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
- Providing individualized or small-group support to help students achieve academic and behavioral goals
- Helping with the preparation of instructional materials and classroom supplies
- Supporting students social, emotional, and physical needs throughout the school day
- Collaborating with faculty and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
- Monitoring and reporting on students progress to educational staff

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $32.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
