Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working with students in a school setting preferred
• Confidence supporting learners with diverse needs and adapting to varied classroom environments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for assisting students' growth
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or paraprofessional certification is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers by preparing materials, supervising students, and facilitating small-group activities
• Support students one-on-one or in groups to ensure understanding and participation
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce positive classroom expectations
• Provide additional assistance to students with special needs, adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs or progress
