Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working or volunteering with children or youth in educational, daycare, camp, or mentorship settings is highly valued

• Collaborative mindset, eager to participate as an essential member of the educational team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in education a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in preparing and implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them stay on task and engaged
• Encourage students academic, social, and emotional growth in the classroom and throughout the school day
• Monitor student progress and relay observations to the teaching team
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere at all times
• Support with classroom management, supervision, and transitions between activities
