Job Description
Support students educational growth as a full-time paraprofessional in a K-12 school setting in Manchester, New Hampshire. This contract role offers 32.5 hours per week during the current school year (CSY), providing a consistent and impactful experience assisting teachers and supporting student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities and managing classroom behavior
- Support diverse learning needs by working closely with individual students or small groups
- Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and families to promote student success
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback under teacher guidance
Qualifications:
- NH Para II Certification (required)
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to various student needs and classroom environments
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
