Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or in a related educational support role
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, especially those with emotional or behavioral challenges
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to students unique learning needs and personalities
• Capability to follow teacher and administrative guidance with reliability and professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require additional certification or training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture
• Support classroom management and reinforce learning objectives
• Aid teachers in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom activities
• Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to educational staff
