Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Texas Paraprofessional License
• Experience working in early childhood education or a similar classroom setting is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient approach with young children
• Ability to assist with instructional activities, support classroom management, and collaborate with certified teachers
• Familiarity with state and district guidelines for paraprofessionals
• Comfortable working full-time, onsite in a school-based environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support and assistance to the lead teacher in a self-contained classroom for children ages 3-4
• Help implement and adapt lesson plans and classroom activities for individual student needs
• Foster a nurturing, safe, and positive learning environment
• Support students in daily routines, social skills, and academic tasks
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a tidy and safe learning space
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
