Job Description

Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students as a contract paraprofessional in an educational setting near Liberty, Missouri. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Substitute Certification with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
  • Recent fingerprint clearance aligned with district-specific requirements
  • Prior experience in a school environment, particularly in supporting student behavior and learning
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality with secure transportation to and from the site
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a student at the elementary level
  • Assist with academic tasks, social skills, and behavioral strategies as directed by classroom teachers and therapists
  • Foster a safe, structured environment throughout the school day, from 9:00 AM to 4:25 PM
  • Maintain confidential records and follow all school policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings as required

This is a contract opportunity available for an immediate start, continuing through the end of October. The position follows a two-step interview process to ensure the right fit for both you and the student youll support.
