Your focus will be guiding and assisting students with various classroom activities, collaborating with teachers, and providing encouragement that fosters growth. With a consistent weekday schedule37.5 hours across five daysyoull have the structure you need to balance work and personal life, while developing valuable professional experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Paraprofessional certification in Massachusetts required
- Experience working with K-12 age groups preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, reliability, and passion for helping children succeed
- Ability to follow educational plans and adapt to changing classroom needs
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in executing daily classroom lessons and activities
- Assist individual or small groups of students with assignments and social development
- Implement strategies to reinforce learning and positive behaviors
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
- Help ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment for every child
