Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in an educational support role
• Knowledge of diverse classroom needs, including special education or behavioral support

• Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and school staff
• Ability to implement teacher-directed instructional strategies and follow classroom routines
• High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers by providing academic and behavioral support to individual students or groups
• Help implement lesson plans and adapt activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and recess, ensuring a safe setting
• Foster positive relationships with students while encouraging independence and confidence
• Support students with special needs according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and teacher guidance
• Collaborate with staff to report progress, challenges, and success stories
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
