Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Possession of a valid Missouri substitute certificate or Paraprofessional certification (required)
• Previous experience supporting children in functional skills or special education settings preferred
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction under the guidance of certified teachers
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with functional needs
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere for all students
• Help students develop both academic and daily living skills
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies for each child
