Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity.
• Familiarity or experience working with students who have emotional disorders is strongly preferred.
• Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or relevant certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support one or more students in achieving their academic and behavioral goals.
• Implement classroom strategies as directed by the supervising teacher.
• Assist with the organization and adaptation of instructional materials.
• Help reinforce lessons and encourage positive participation.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to instructional staff.
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom climate.

Compensation for this contract role starts at $21 per hour, with consideration for your experience.
