Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role preferred
• Familiarity with classroom routines and student support strategies
• Ability to assist students of varying ages and abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers with classroom activities and daily routines
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as directed
• Assist with instructional materials and lesson preparation
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Monitor student engagement and behavior, encouraging positive participation
• Support students with special needs under the guidance of teaching staff
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to implement student plans
• Assist with supervision during transitions, recess, and meal times as needed
