Job Description

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K12 students with significant needs as an ABA paraprofessional. This role is based near Lansdale and involves direct work in various classrooms with a focus on autism support, level 3 severity. Assignments begin as soon as possible and continue through mid-June 2026, following the school calendar. The position requires a Monday through Friday commitment (37.5 hours/week, 7:30 AM3:30 PM). Candidates must reside within 35 minutes of Levittown and be able to attend a mandatory week-long orientation prior to starting in classrooms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an ABA paraprofessional in a K12 classroom
  • Resides within a 35-minute commute of Levittown, PA, and can reliably arrive on time
  • Meets at least one PA state paraprofessional requirement (48 college credits, associate degree or higher, or qualifying certification), or is willing to obtain the required certification within 60 days
  • Strong understanding of severe behavioral challenges and readiness to implement advanced interventions
  • Ownership of a vehicle and reliable daily transportation
  • Willingness to undergo PA DOE credentialing (typically 14 days) and provide two supervisor references

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with autism and intensive behavioral needs, employing ABA techniques and safety protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and supervisors to ensure individualized support
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with staff and participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Assist with crisis management, de-escalation, and implementation of positive behavioral strategies
