Make an impact supporting students in a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional/Educational Assistant in the Lakeville and Burnsville, MN area. In this role, you'll work within a dedicated focus program, supporting students who benefit from specialized educational services. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster growth and achievement in a collaborative school setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years of college credits from an accredited institution OR an associate degree or higher
- Alternatively, a passing score on an approved academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher) or demonstration of competencies per the MDE approved grid
- PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certificate, or willingness to obtain one (training is provided, takes less than an hour and is free)
- Genuine interest in working with K-12 students requiring additional educational support
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
- Experience in special education settings or supporting students with diverse needs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in daily instructional activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support, both academically and behaviorally
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to promote student participation and engagement
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills
- Maintain accurate records and document daily activities as assigned
- Collaborate closely with school staff to implement individualized student plans

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $58.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
