Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a 1:1 paraprofessional, supporting a student in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working closely with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role entails assisting a single student throughout the school day, adapting to their needs across settings such as classrooms and common areas, and providing personal care as neededincluding toileting support. You will collaborate with teachers in the classroom, ensuring consistent and effective assistance.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional within a school setting.
• Comfort and flexibility in supporting students with varying daily needs.
• Willingness to assist with personal care.
• Adaptable to supporting students from kindergarten through high school.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 35 hours weekly.
• Completion of fingerprinting requirements before the start date.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student throughout the school day.
• Facilitate transitions between classroom and other settings.
• Assist with day-to-day needs, including academic tasks and personal care.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure appropriate support within the classroom.
• Maintain a positive, student-centered approach in all interactions.
