What Youll Bring:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related school support role
• Comfort providing emotional support to high school students
• Reliability and punctuality, especially for designated travel and bus schedules
• Ability to encourage and assist students with academic tasks, primarily history coursework
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
• Willingness to complete immediate district-provided Vector training prior to start

Your Role:

• Arrive on time at the base high school location each morning
• Ride the district bus with the student to and from Impact Academy in Dover, providing standby support during transit and throughout the day
• Assist with coursework back at the high school, focusing on academics and fostering student independence
• On Fridays, accompany the student to their car detailing internship, offering encouragement and emotional support at the site
• If internship support isn't required, provide general assistance at the high school
