Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students
  • Ability to provide effective support to students with diverse needs
  • Adaptable, organized, and patient in dynamic classroom settings
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with classroom teachers to assist in the delivery of instruction and activities
  • Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and accommodate specific student needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere
  • Monitor student progress and help maintain safe classroom environments
  • Assist with activities of daily living if needed, promoting student independence
