Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Paraprofessional at a welcoming school community near Keene, NH. This full-time, contract position extends until the end of the school year, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact right away. Your day-to-day work will focus on supporting students with behavioral needs, implementing behavioral plans with guidance from school staff. Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Background in implementing behavioral plans or working with behavioral support programs
- Active Paraprofessional license required; RBT, CNA, or LPN license also accepted
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring behavioral supports
- Implement individualized behavioral plans under the guidance of school professionals
- Support teachers in classroom management and academic activities
- Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in team meetings and school trainings as needed
- Maintain student confidentiality and uphold professional standards
