Sunbelt is working with a school district in the Kansas City, Kansas area that is seeking a full-time Paraprofessional for the upcoming school year. This school-based role supports K12 students in the classroom by assisting with instruction, routines, and behavior support throughout the school day.
Job Overview:
In this position, youll work closely with classroom teachers to support student learning, reinforce instruction, and help maintain a structured and positive classroom environment. The role includes both academic assistance and behavior support in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Support students during classroom instruction and learning activities
Assist with behavior support and positive redirection when needed
Provide 1:1 and small group support as needed
Help reinforce classroom expectations, routines, and lesson delivery
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student success
Requirements:
Active Substitute or Paraprofessional certification through DESE required
Candidates currently in process may apply, but certification must be active prior to start date
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required
Ability to support academic and behavioral needs in a classroom environment
