Employer: Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit (IU)
Start Date: August 10, 2026
End Date: June 11, 2027 (tentative; follows assigned school calendar)

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals (PARAs) for the upcoming 20262027 school year in partnership with the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit (IU). These positions support students across Carbon County and Lehigh County, PA, helping create inclusive, engaging classroom environments.

Position Details
Schedule Options:
School Age: 35 hours per week
Early Intervention: 29 hours per week
Assignment Length: Full school year (Aug 2026 June 2027)
Setting: Schools and early intervention programs within Carbon & Lehigh Counties
Key Responsibilities
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support behavioral and academic development
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required (associates or bachelors preferred)
Prior experience working with children or in educational settings strongly preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
Passion for supporting student growth and development
