In this role, youll be matched to one of three unique assignments, contributing to student growth and learning:

• Support preschool students with disabilities, providing hands-on guidance and encouragement in a nurturing early education environment.
• Work in a self-contained classroom for kindergarten and first grade, assisting with daily routines and helping children reach academic and personal milestones.
• Serve as a shared Paraprofessional for a group of 4th grade students, fostering academic engagement and positive peer connections.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 48 college credits, an Associates degree, or a Paraprofessional Certification.
• Previous experience in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred but not mandatoryenthusiasm and a genuine desire to support children are essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers and school staff.
• Adaptability, patience, and attentiveness to the needs of diverse learners.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom management, instructional support, and organizing materials.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, helping with lessons, social skills, and daily activities.
• Reinforce positive behavior and encourage student participation.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
