Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar classroom support role
• Current or prior LNA/CNA credentials considered a plus (not required)
• Comfortable providing academic assistance and personal care, including toileting and positioning support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, and caregivers
• Empathetic, flexible, and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Role Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with a student in the life skills program, assisting with both academic activities and daily living needs
• Implement and maintain toileting and positioning plans to ensure student comfort and dignity
• Foster a supportive learning environment in collaboration with faculty, therapists, and families
• Encourage self-advocacy and progress toward personalized educational goals
• Maintain documentation as needed for student plans and program compliance
