Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional in a school-based setting, preferably with special education students
- Familiarity with the needs of K-12 students, including individualized education plans (IEPs) for special education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, educators, and families
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic classroom environment
- Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable with a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with special needs under the guidance of certified educators
- Assist in implementing lesson plans, educational activities, and behavioral interventions
- Monitor student progress and offer feedback or redirection as required
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to ensure each students educational needs are met
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere for learners of all abilities
