Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Substitute Certificate on DESE (can be in process if completed before start date)
• Experience working in schools, especially with students who have behavioral needs
• Familiarity with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and willingness to assist with toileting if required
• Ability to quickly adapt to both 1:1 and classroom aide roles
• Completion of background check and fingerprinting with district-specific code (required prior to start)
• Reliable access to the Spindle app for interfacing with daily assignments
• Professionalism, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility for student well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students and classroom teachers as assigned, ranging from one-on-one assistance to overall classroom support
• Implement behavioral supports and execute individualized plans to help students thrive
• Respond promptly to daily call-out opportunities using the Spindle app, accepting assignments that fit your availability
• Assist with academic tasks, personal care, and transitions throughout the school day
• Collaborate seamlessly with school staff to foster a positive, supportive environment

• Flexible per diem scheduling: select between 15 days per week
