Job Description
We are hiring a Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting through both one-on-one and small group assistance. This role is centered on helping students with diverse learning and behavioral needs stay engaged, build skills, and succeed throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with students to support participation in classroom activities and instruction
- Reinforce lessons and provide additional guidance based on teacher direction
- Assist with behavior support, transitions, and maintaining daily schedules
- Observe student performance and note progress or concerns as needed
- Partner with teachers and school staff to provide consistent, student-focused support
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or students in an educational or support setting preferred
- Familiarity with behavior strategies or willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working with populations with ASD highly preferred.
