Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Prior experience working with children or in a school setting strongly preferred
• Flexibility to work with K-12 student populations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing needs throughout the day
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, assisting with academic and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with teachers and other paraprofessionals to implement classroom activities
• Offer assistance to students with special needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Help students develop social skills and classroom routines
• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students
• Monitor and document student progress under the supervision of certified staff

With a Monday-Friday schedule totaling 35 hours per week, you'll build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues while gaining valuable experience in the educational field.
